Equipment on-hand in the loan closet can be checked out, free of charge, for a period of 90 days. A client contact form must be completed and signed for all borrowed equipment. At the end of the 90-day loan period, equipment must be returned clean and in good working condition with all attachments. An extension of up to an additional 90 days may be permitted on a case-by-case basis, should the loan closet have sufficient inventory.

Those anticipating the use of durable medical equipment on a long term basis are encouraged to obtain equipment through their health insurance provider or from a private medical supply company. Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies will supply necessary Durable Medical Equipment with an appropriate certification of need by a health care provider.
